EGON PEOPLEBUSTER FIGURE Prototype by TemptingTradgedy EGON PEOPLEBUSTER FIGURE Prototype by TemptingTradgedy
This is my prototype for egon.

I have added his slime pack which once all put together will carry Green GLOW-IN-THE-DARK Slime.

I finished modeling his slime thrower using my own design keeping it close to the cartoon. I thought it needed more of a modern and practical design. Going off the design of the slime pack rack made of bones, I desided to make the slime thrower use bones as handles. I just need to make a 3D print so I can model a hand.

he is poseable in shoulders legs and neck. the incomplete hand will be poseable as well with bend and rotate since that will be his firing hand.

Let me know what you think.

Once I have them complete I will have them up for sale for those who are interested. Price TBD

As soon as you have the whole team finished, you just let me know. I will rain money down on you. Why Mattel has not done this, why Kenner didn't do this makes absolutely no sense. But then again, there's multiple things I could pull out of TRGB and say where's that toy. Like One of Ecto-1's possessed forms, or the Boogeyman or Samhain, not that Retro Action Figure either, he's garbage.

Aaaaaanyways, I just reserved you a spot in my wallet.

After these are finished, do you have plans to do anything else?
Are you working under Sony's nose or are you gonna get them to support you?

Hey, thank you so much for the interest. Honestly this has been a project I started a couple of years ago that I had hoped would be finished by now. But I was actually in the military at the time and just finished a year being deployed. But I recently just got out of the service and wanting to pursue my artwork full time. So now I plan on continuing this line full force! As of right now I'm strictly independent I would love to be apart of mattycollector or mattel on this but honestly I don't feel like they have done ghostbusters justice in any form. Their pricing is ridiculous and their line of products is very scatter brained. So starting January 1st I will be making a lot of progress on completing these figures. I will be posting my progress as I go. Thanks again for the support!! :0)

I can understand that. I still think that there would be a lot of interest from Adult Collectors like myself who've wanted these figures and noone's ever brought them to fruition.

MattyCollector is absolute garbage, at least to the GhostBusters line. They want to piss all over us fans, charging ludicrious prices and doing re-release after re-release. Never giving fans what they want

Their Retro Action line is just Ken and(in Janine's case) Barbie with different heads, paint schemes and some crappy uniforms and proton packs.

Their movie line is ludicrious. Especially in the case of the Ecto-1 we were supposed to get last year which was cancelled because it didn't get enough preorders, because it was $400. If the movie line didn't go to Big Lots I'd have probably never gotten them. There's multiple inaccuracies, from small things like the logo isn't in the right place on the Uniforms to huge ones like the Proton Pack isn't correct(in the case of the Rookie from the Video Game who had a much different pack then the GhostBusters) and let's not forget how Dana was fucked

They could be doing so much more with the rights. I mean look at their MOTU line. They're literally going through every MOTU medium and making everyone and everything. They redid Castle GreySkull into this huge ass playset. Imagine what they could be doing with GhostBusters. They could be going back and redoing Kenner's whole line of toys and actually making things from the show. They could do the Fire House right this time. The price isn't important when fans are getting what they want, and getting it accurate to it's source material, it's when things are wrong and all yer doing is re-releasing past figures and charging the same price.

Bandai and Matteycollector need to re-evaluate both their Power Rangers and GhostBusters lines and start to give people what they want without excuses. Children aren't paying your prices, it's the adults. So start listening to them

This is REALLY awesome! When you say they are going to be for sale once complete, so you mean you are going to cast them and sell duplicates, or just sell the originals?

The plan is to cast and mold duplicates by request. Time has been a big issue for me lately, thats why I haven't been able to finish Egon as quickly as I'd like. So making duplicates will definitly take some time depending on how many requests I get.

The pictures above are actually of the first resin mold. He's durable and poseable!

Hey, take your time dude. This figure is turning out beautifully, and you can absolutely count me in for a full set once you make them available!
